Volleyball Recap: Waller Takes a Loss

Waller suffered their biggest defeat since October 15, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Hill Panthers. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dakota Hieber paced Waller's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hieber got some help from Sasha Keys and her 21 assists.

Liberty Hill found their leader in sophomore Summer Snyder, who had 11 digs and five assists. Snyder has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Waller and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Liberty Hill, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Waller didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Hendrickson on the 15th. As for Liberty Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Celina on the 15th.
