Basketball Recap: Kaydence Pettit Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Moore took on Westmoore on Friday. The Moore Lions secured a 70-65 W over the Westmoore Jaguars. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 59-56 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Moore's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaydence Pettit, who en route to 16 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Pettit now owns an excellent 47.5% shooting accuracy. Jeriah Alexander was another key player, on her way to 17 points and five assists.

Moore's record is now 10-12. As for Westmoore, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

As of now, neither Moore nor Westmoore have any future games scheduled.
