Softball Recap: South Terrebonne Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

South Terrebonne and Jennings squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but South Terrebonne had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Gators were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Bulldogs' pitchers proved too tough.

South Terrebonne's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11-1. As for Jennings, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

South Terrebonne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jennings, they will venture away from home to square off against North DeSoto at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
