Volleyball Recap: Locust Grove Takes a Loss

Locust Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pryor Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Locust Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pryor, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Locust Grove is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Sequoyah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pryor has already played their next contest (against Dewey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
