If Research Triangle wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Falls Lake, they should've done a better job of containing Jeneen Mason. The Falls Lake Firebirds breezed by the Research Triangle Raptors to the tune of 66-19 on Monday thanks in part to Mason, who went 10 for 12 on her way to 21 points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in field goal percentage (83%).

Falls Lake is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points over those games. As for Research Triangle, their loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
