Volleyball Recap: Rich Falls Despite Big Games from Chaislee Leavitt and Tess Cornia

Rich lost against Preston back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rebels fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rich's loss came despite strong showings from Tess Cornia and Chaislee Leavitt. Cornia had nine digs and three aces, while Leavitt had four digs. Cornia is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

Rich's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Preston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Rich has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bear Lake on the 30th. As for Preston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Cokeville on the 30th.
