Recap: Devine Warhorses vs. Floresville Tigers
The Devine Warhorses lost against the Floresville Tigers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Devine had to suffer through a rough 64-36 loss at the hands of Floresville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Devine has scored all season.
It was another big night for Ryland Parker, who scored 23 points for Floresville. Blake Lafferty was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Devine has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 16 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Floresville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.
Devine will head out on the road to square off against Uvalde at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Floresville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Somerset at 6:30 p.m. Somerset is coming into the contest with eight straight victories on the road, meaning Floresville will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
