Recap: Central Lake Trojans vs. East Jordan Red Devils
The Central Lake Trojans pushed their score all the way to 65 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of East Jordan by a score of 68-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Wednesday (60), Central Lake still had to take the loss.
East Jordan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angel Delgado, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of William Webb, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Central Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Jordan, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Central Lake will be playing at home against Mancelona at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Jordan, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
