Softball Recap: Chesterton Takes a Loss

Chesterton lost against Lake Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans lost 13-2 to the Indians. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chesterton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lila Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Lexi Smith also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Chesterton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lake Central, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Chesterton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 loss against Crown Point on the 16th. As for Lake Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-1 victory against Portage on the 16th.
