ThunderRidge won the last time they faced Rock Canyon and things went their way on Friday too. The ThunderRidge Grizzlies managed a 62-56 win over the Rock Canyon Jaguars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

ThunderRidge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Paine, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ulysses Brown, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 15 points and six boards.

ThunderRidge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rock Canyon only pulled down three offensive rebounds.

Jacob David and Davis May certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. David went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points, while May went 6 for 9 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave May a new career-high in boards. Cooper Ellwood was another key player, putting up two points and four steals.

ThunderRidge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Rock Canyon, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

ThunderRidge and Rock Canyon should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. ThunderRidge (ranked seventh) will meet Ponderosa (ranked 164th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. ThunderRidge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.2 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Rock Canyon will square off against Douglas County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 113 places (33 vs. 146).
