Preview: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Highland Rams
Thunder Ridge is 10-0 against Highland since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Thunder Ridge Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Highland Rams at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Thunder Ridge came up short against Madison and fell 53-42. Thunder Ridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Highland's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 68-20 loss at the hands of Rigby. While losing is never fun, Highland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Rigby is ranked fourth).
Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Highland, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-15.
Everything came up roses for Thunder Ridge against Highland in their previous meeting on Monday as the team secured a 44-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thunder Ridge since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
