Softball Recap: Boone's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Boone easily dispatched Winter Park last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Braves fell just short of the Horizon Hawks by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Braves have suffered since April 16, 2024.

Paige Barry was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Boone's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Horizon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Boone is taking a road trip to take on Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Horizon, they will venture away from home to square off against Ocoee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
