Football Recap: Teays Valley Takes a Loss

Teays Valley lost against Canal Winchester back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of the Indians. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Teays Valley and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Canal Winchester, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Teays Valley will face off against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 32.1 points per game this season. As for Canal Winchester, they will square off against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Chieftains' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
