Desert Vista hasn't had much luck against Xavier College Prep recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Thunder will be playing at home against the Gators at 6:00 p.m.

Desert Vista is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Millennium, who was ranked tenth at the time (Desert Vista was ranked 23rd). The Thunder lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Xavier College Prep waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Aztecs 3-0.

While Xavier College Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.

Xavier College Prep's win bumped their record up to 27-2. As for Desert Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.
