Triumph Charter wins going away against Aspire Ollin

The Triumph Charter Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Aspire Ollin with a sharp 61-36 victory on Saturday. Given Triumph Charter's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 576th, while Aspire Ollin is ranked 1325th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Triumph Charter found their leader in underclassman Antonio Garcia III, who scored 24 points. The game was Garcia III's 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Zaragoza, who scored 12 points.

Triumph Charter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Aspire Ollin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Triumph Charter and Vaughn will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Vaughn comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Aspire Ollin is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Downtown Magnets at 2:30 p.m. on January 10th. Downtown Magnets has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
