Basketball Game Preview: Elk City Elks vs. Perryton Rangers

The Elk City Elks will kick their season off against the Perryton Rangers on Thursday. Tip off is scheduled at 4:40 p.m.

Perryton is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since January 23rd on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 56-30 margin over Sunray. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rangers considering their 26-point performance the match before.

Their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

As for Elk City, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 6-20.
