Baseball Game Preview: Rushford-Peterson Trojans vs. Spring Grove Lions

The Rushford-Peterson Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Spring Grove Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Rushford-Peterson came up short against Caledonia and fell 9-4. The Trojans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Spring Grove also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Southland by a score of 10-5.

Spring Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rushford-Peterson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Rushford-Peterson skirted past Spring Grove 6-5 when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
