O'Connor was the 2-0 winner over Higley when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The O'Connor Eagles fell just short of the Higley Knights by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

O'Connor's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Higley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

O'Connor will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Corona del Sol at 5:30 p.m. on March 25th. The last three games O'Connor has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. After both having extra time off, Higley and O'Connor will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st.
