Basketball Recap: Richland Springs Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richland Springs can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to the Jonesboro Eagles. The Coyotes have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Richland Springs' loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Jonesboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Richland Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jonesboro, they will face off against Brookeland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Brookeland will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Jonesboro surely won't give up without a fight.
