Football Game Preview: Pickering Red Devils vs. Pine Prairie Panthers + How To Watch

The Pickering Red Devils will head out to square off against the Pine Prairie Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pickering is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Vinton on Thursday. They were beaten by the Lions 48-12. The Red Devils have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Pine Prairie fell victim to Crowley and their airtight defense on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Gent.

Pine Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pickering, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Pickering took their victory against Pine Prairie when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 41-20 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
