4A Region 7 recap November 5, 2013
Olympus added to the longest winning streak in 4A Region 7 this week by beating Springville, 43-37. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Titans.
Timpanogos fell to Timpview 62-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Tucker Camp threw for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 16-42 with 2 interceptions.
Coleman Meier was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 203 yards as Olympus lost to Salem Hills. Teammate Ben Seagle added to the ground attack by rushing for 103 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Tigers' Camp and Gray have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Camp has thrown for 2,502 yards this season, while Gray has 73 catches for 1,126 yards. Aaron Whitehead's team's Meier leads the league in rushing yards with 1,204.
The Titans and the Red Devils played the closest game in 4A Region 7 this week, with the Titans eventually emerging with a 43-37 victory. Meier ran for 203 yards and caught 0 passes for 30 yards during the win.
