After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Armwood, Middleton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Blake Yellow Jackets 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Yellow Jackets back in March, they had to take a 7-6 defeat.

Middleton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ahiam Olmeda, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Middleton's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Blake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Middleton will face off against Plant City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Tigers have lost five straight at home , while the Raiders have lost five on the road. As for Blake, they will take on Hillsborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
