Softball Recap: Carson Colts vs. San Pedro Pirates

Carson can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. Everything went their way against the San Pedro Pirates as the Carson Colts made off with an 8-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but Carson sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Giselle Pantoja spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Ruby Grajeda was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Alana Langford was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
