Forest Hills Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between the Hawks and the Spring Lake Lakers didn't end well, with the Hawks falling 57-43. On the bright side, the 43- point performance marked the Hawks' highest-scoring game to date.

When it comes to explaining why Forest Hills Eastern lost, don't look at Luke Rosenbrook. Despite the final result, he picked up 89 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 39 yards. Rosenbrook also put up two receiving touchdowns, which were his first of the season.

Spring Lake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon O'Donnell out in front who rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 124 yards. Those 86 rushing yards gave O'Donnell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mason Herrema, who rushed for 124 yards and three TDs.
