Baseball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern lost to Manheim Township back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bobcats took a 15-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Streaks. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Wilson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Brayden Beagle was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Manheim Township, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Western on the 22nd. As for Manheim Township, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Ephrata on the 22nd.
