Basketball Recap: Days Creek Drops Highest Score of Season Against Glendale

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Days Creek). They managed a 52-48 victory over the Glendale Pirates on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won seven in a row.

Days Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maggie Brown, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Brown a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Natalie Harris, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 12 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Days Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Days Creek's win bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Glendale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Days Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glendale, they have already played their next game, a 58-27 loss against Pacific on the 14th.
