Volleyball Recap: Broken Bow Comes Up Short

After flying high against Central City on Monday, Broken Bow came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors on Monday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-13.

Olivia Neely paced Broken Bow's offense, picking up nine kills. Neely got some help from McKenna Jacobsen and her 12 assists. Finally, Anslee Campbell kept Broken Bow's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Jadyn Keenan was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Broken Bow's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

Broken Bow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they will challenge David City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
