Basketball Recap: Columbia Independent Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Columbia Independent had won two straight home games and Blake Morris did his part to make it three on Wednesday. Columbia Independent came out on top against the Silex Owls by a score of 60-50 thanks in part to Morris, who almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine boards. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Deolu Adibiyi, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave him a new career-high.

Columbia Independent's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Silex, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Columbia Independent has already played their next match (against Calvary Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Silex will face off against Louisiana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
