Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stafford). They secured a 71-66 W over the Unity Reed Lions on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Jackson Wallace, who went 16 for 27 en route to 37 points in addition to six assists and three steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Zion Bacchus was another key player, going 5 of 6 on his way to 13 points and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Unity Reed lost, don't look at Charles Pargo. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 18 en route to 29 points and six rebounds. That was a full 43.9% of Unity Reed's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Ata Ozgur also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Stafford's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Unity Reed, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Stafford will challenge North Stafford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Unity Reed, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Unity Reed Lions duke it out with the Gainesville Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Unity Reed is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
