It was fun while it lasted, but Strawberry Crest's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Robinson Knights. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Strawberry Crest fell to 8-1. As for Robinson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strawberry Crest will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bloomingdale at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Strawberry Crest's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Bloomingdale's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Robinson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
