Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against St. Andrews-Sewanee on Tuesday, Notre Dame came back down to earth. The Fighting Irish took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers on Thursday.

Notre Dame's goal came courtesy of Saylor Schalk, who's now up to 16 this season.

Notre Dame's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4. As for Boyd-Buchanan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

Coincidentally, Notre Dame and Boyd-Buchanan will both be playing Silverdale Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Fighting Irish will host the Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Buccaneers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
