Oxford Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-48 victory over the Chowchilla Tribe. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

When it comes to explaining why Chowchilla lost, don't look at Khaled Escheik. Despite the final result, he went 10 for 16 on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Beardsley, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Oxford Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Chowchilla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Oxford Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-47 defeat against Kennedy on the 30th. As for Chowchilla, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-35 loss against Mary Star of the Sea on the 30th.
