Soccer Recap: Mount Juliet Comes Up Short

Mount Juliet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Green Hill Hawks. That's two games in a row now that Mount Juliet have lost by just one goal.

Jonas Winter and Carter Haigis scored both of Mount Juliet's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Mount Juliet's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Green Hill, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Mount Juliet will take on Beech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beech will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mount Juliet surely won't give up without a fight. As for Green Hill, they have already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Lawson on the 25th.
