Minico has gone 9-1 against Mountain Home recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Minico is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since March 25th on Wednesday. They lost 11-1 to Jerome.

Minico saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Garza, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Mountain Home and Twin Falls, and Twin Falls kept the tradition alive. The Tigers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins on Monday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Andrew Chapman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Morse, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Minico's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Mountain Home, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-6.

Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Minico hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314. However, it's not like Mountain Home struggles in that department as they've averaged .326. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
