Soccer Game Preview: Belen Jesuit vs. Reagan

The Belen Jesuit Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Reagan Bison at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Belen Jesuit fell victim to Cypress Bay and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lightning by a score of 1-0. One reason for the loss might be the Wolverines' aggressive play style: Gaspar Fernandez and Theo Waterhouse Hayward were both handed yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Reagan didn't have quite enough to beat Somerset Academy on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bison have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Alessandro Martini, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Belen Jesuit and nudges their season record down to 4-4-3. As for Reagan, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5-2.
