Cornerstone Charter entered their tilt with Phoenix Academy on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They blew past the Firebirds 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cornerstone Charter was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Chloe Cobb paced Cornerstone Charter's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cobb got some help from Ashley Belland and her 19 assists. Belland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Cornerstone Charter's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Phoenix Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
