A well-balanced attack led Menlo-Atherton over Burlingame in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Menlo-Atherton Bears blew the Burlingame Panthers out of the water with a 62-29 final score. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Burlingame saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lucca Maher posted eight points and seven boards.

Menlo-Atherton's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.2 points. As for Burlingame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Menlo-Atherton will host Carlmont at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Carlmont will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Menlo-Atherton surely won't give up without a fight.
