For the first time this season, Community School of Davidson will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Monday. They will look to defend their home pitch against the Mountain Island Charter Raptors at 6:00 p.m. Community School of Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Community School of Davidson took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Newton-Conover get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Eliana Puma was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mountain Island Charter was not quite Weddington's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Raptors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mountain Island Charter fell to 2-1. As for Community School of Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
