Basketball Recap: Hubbard Takes a Loss

Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Richards Warriors, falling 62-20. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 711th, while the Warriors are ranked 347th).

Hubbard's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Richards, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Hubbard will be playing at home against King at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richards, they will head out to face off against Dunbar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
