Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Comes Up Short

Flowery Branch lost against Walnut Grove back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Walnut Grove found their leader in sophomore Scout Peterson, who had eight digs and two aces. Zoe Moser also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Flowery Branch's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Walnut Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Flowery Branch and Walnut Grove will both be playing Eastside the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
