Fairfax Christian waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over the Lanham Christian Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dominic Carr, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamar Payen, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Fairfax Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-12. As for Lanham Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-7.

As of now, neither Fairfax Christian nor Lanham Christian have any future games scheduled.
