Four North Carolina players make Air Force All-American Team

Kris Frost, Tommy Hibbard, Marquise Williams and Stephone Anthony earn national honors.

Four players from North Carolina were selected to the MaxPreps 2010 U.S. Air Force All-American Football Team.

Linebacker Kris Frost, who helped lead Butler (Matthews) to an undefeated season and a second straight 4AA title, as named first-team linebacker. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound senior declared to Auburn this past weekend during the U.S. Army All-American game.

Frost is joined on the first team by Butler teammate Tommy Hibbard, a punter who averaged 51 yards per punt.

The second team features Mallard Creek (Charlotte) quarterback Marquise Williams and Anson (Wadesboro) linebacker Stephone Anthony, who are both listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds.



Williams, who threw for 3,034 yards and 45 touchdowns while running for 1,147 yards and 19 scores, is headed to UNC next season. Anthony, who totaled 123 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions, is currently undecided.
