St. Mary had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 26-13 win over the Lincoln Trojans. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Trojans are ranked 506th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Mary's didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Sosefina Hunkin and Mila Townsend were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Lincoln, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Mary's will venture away from home to square off against Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Flames will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Lincoln, they will head out to take on Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars' defense has only allowed 7.5 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
