Baseball Recap: Field Comes Up Short

If Field was riding high fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Spencerville Adventist Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 15-6 to the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Field's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Georgetown Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Field has already played their next matchup, a 10-8 win against St. Anselm's Abbey on the 15th. As for Georgetown Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against St. Andrew's Episcopal on the 15th.
