Hillgrove gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-7 win over the Mountain View Bears. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Hillgrove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ian Wilcox led the charge by rushing for 50 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Wilcox has posted since back in September of 2024. Zion Williams also helped with two scores in total.
