Baseball Recap: Palmyra Comes Up Short

Palmyra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the Moorestown Friends Foxes. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Foxes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Palmyra saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Bachich, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and one run.

Palmyra's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Moorestown Friends, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmyra will host Maple Shade at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Moorestown Friends, they will square off against Pennsauken Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
