Football Game Recap: Central Private vs. Silliman Institute

Everything came up roses for Silliman Institute against Central Private on Friday as the squad secured a 50-12 win. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Silliman Institute, who can brag about four blowout wins.

The matchup started off well for Silliman Institute, whose offense put up 42 first-half points. Central Private countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 42-6 going into the half. The Silliman Institute defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The victory bumped Silliman Institute's record up to 5-4. The loss dropped Central Private back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Silliman Institute take on Cathedral at 7:00 PM. Cathedral are limping into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Central Private, they will face off against Adams County Christian. Adams County Christian are cruising in on a nine-game winning streak.
