Rochester barely beat Maconaquah the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Zebras' pitcher stepped up to hand the Braves a 12-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Zebras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Parker Casper was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Tanner Reinartz was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Rochester hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Rochester's record is now 14-2. As for Maconaquah, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester will welcome Tippecanoe Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Maconaquah, they will be playing at home against Tipton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
