Excel Christian Academy won the last time they faced Florida College Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Excel Christian Academy Spartans took down the Florida College Academy Falcons 52-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Excel Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bianca Berbick, who posted 17 points along with eight boards and seven steals. Aysia Mertz was another key player, putting up 15 points and five rebounds.

Excel Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Florida College Academy only pulled down four offensive rebounds.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was April Latta, who had six points. Latta also put up an assist, which washer first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ava Edwards, who earned six points and six boards.

Excel Christian Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Florida College Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Excel Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-40 win against Lake Gibson on the 16th. Florida College Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 32-23 defeat against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool on the 16th.
