Baseball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss

Irving lost against Berkner back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1.

Irving saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casen Blass, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Irving has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season. As for Berkner, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

While Irving had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
